ガラスに七宝で使用する銀線を置き焼成する技法で制作しています。
ガラスの前に、金工を勉強していたので、二つの素材を知ったことで自分にしか表せない表現を模索した結果、この技法に辿りつきました。
ガラスの透明感や鮮やかな色彩、銀線の繊細な線のそれぞれの素材の良いところをあわせることができるので、そこに魅力を感じています。
模様のデザインは、植物や雪の結晶などの自然から着想を得ています。
私の作品を手に取ってくださる方が、穏やかで優しい気持ちになれるような、ものづくりをしたいと思いながら制作しています。
I use the technique of placing silver wire used in cloisonne enamel on glass and firing it.
I studied metalworking before glass, and my knowledge of the two materials led me to this technique as a result of my search for an expression that only I can express.
I am attracted to this technique because it allows me to combine the best aspects of each material: the transparency and vivid colors of glass and the delicate lines of silver wire.
The designs of the patterns are inspired by nature, such as plants and snow crystals.
I create my works with the hope that the people who hold them in their hands will feel calm and gentle.

ガラス作家 塚原梢さんの作品展を開催いたします。
ガラス胎七宝という技法を用いて、独自の模様を施した美しいガラス作品をどうぞご覧ください。

私の作品は、七宝で使用する銀線をガラスに焼き付けて制作しています。
この技法に辿り着いたきっかけは、植物図鑑で見た茎の断面図でした。
見えない部分にも美しい模様が広がっていて、とても魅力的でした。
そのイメージから着想を得て、模様を描いています。
今回の個展では「piece of nature」というシリーズを中心に、自然をモチーフとした作品を展示いたします。
